Alright moms its time for a self care check. I know all of you have been rocking it out with school duties, extra curriculars, work, holiday prep, and just generally keeping your small people alive. Don’t forget to treat yourself this winter. Here are some of my favorite must haves for the winter season. These are things you might never splurge on without someone gifting or encouraging you. You can use some of these for your Mom’s Christmas list if you want! Winter Must-Haves for Moms is the ultimate “treat yo-self” list!
I am a sucker for a soft sofa blanket. The one that is my favorite is always on the sofa and everyone in the house knows it mine. When we sit together to watch TV the kids bring it to me! With the cold weather here being cozy on the sofa is a must. Here are some of my favorite Sofa Blankie ideas for your Treat Yo-Self List.
Candles make everything seem warm and cozy. They are a must for the cooler seasons in my house. Something about a flame just reminds me of the sun that I miss so much. Lighting up a yummy smelling candle is something I always do when I’m done cleaning up the kitchen. It’s like my mini “you cleaned” treat to myself.
Planners are one of my most favorite things ever! I love to write in my planner, I procrastinate with my planner and spend lots of time researching or creating planners. The holiday season is full of things to plan. Here are some cool planners to help you out with gift-giving and budgets, party planning, holiday treat baking etc.
I always like the finger food style of a good lunch meat tray. This is totally the fancy version of that. Add some fancy to your next holiday gathering or even for your Sunday lunch with the family. What is Charcuterie? The linked blog will explain all about it! Check out my favorites for displaying this totally on-trend way of eating and displaying food.
Keeping some green in your home through the cold season isn’t as hard as it may seem. There are many plants that require little light and little watering. They are not to hard to keep alive- just set a weekly alarm on your phone to give them a water check. (Stick your finger in the dirt, if its damp- no water, if it feels dry- water!) Her are some of my favorites. Bonus: They clean the air in your house!
